Application/Properties
‘Balchem WA 90’ is designed for wetting, dispersing and degreasing which can be used in
- Soaking: 0.2 – 0.6 % based on raw weight
- Liming: 0.2 – 0.3 % based on raw weight
- Deliming & Bating: 0.2 - 0.5 % based on pelt weight
- Wet blue leather: 0.4 - 1.3 % based on shaved weight
- Crust leather: 2.0 – 2.5 % based on crust weight
It imparts
- Accelerates hydration of hides, skins, wet blue and crust leathers by reducing surface tension
- Aids in removal of water soluble proteins, dirt and impurities to produce clean leather
- Highly stable to electrolytes aids in better distribution of fat and thus helps in subsequent operations which results in better physical properties
- Aids in uniform liming and swelling
- Emulsifies natural fat and helps in subsequent degreasing operation
- Enhanced fleshing and splitting operation
Safety
A non hazardous industrial chemical should be handled with normal care. Any contact with eyes and/or spillage on skin should be washed thoroughly with running water.
Storage
This product has 12 months shelf life when stored in original packing in sealed condition at ambient temperature. Protect from moisture & sunlight Avoid freezing. Stir well before use. Close container tightly after use.
