Balmol

Based on indigenous technology, Balmer Lawrie manufactures and markets a wide range of chemicals under the brand "Balmol" for the Leather, Agro and Textile Industry at its modern state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Chennai. The Plant, a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) facility, is certified with ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. The Plant received national award for manufacturing competitiveness, strategic improvement initiatives and India Green Manufacturing Challenge from International Research Institute for Manufacturing (IRIM).

The business unit has modern technical service centers with modern leather machineries in all major leather manufacturing hubs in India and is one of the leading solution providers for tanning industries, offering sustainable leather manufacturing process. Balmer Lawrie Chemicals offers a huge product basket for Leather, Textile, Agro and Paper industries and is continuously expanding its product range and improving its service network through innovative research, sensitivity to the customer requirements with a concern for the society and environment.
