Solubility & Compatibility: Balchem HF(E) is compatible with all types of Synthetic tanning agents, dyes, auxiliaries . It is readily soluble in water.

Application/Properties
‘Balchem HF(E)’ can be used in all process of leather production for degreasing, dispersing and to remove dirt.
- Reduces surface tension of water and thus develops a good emulsifying effect.
- Has an excellent emulsifying capacity for natural grease.
- Dissolves natural fat and dirt.
- Reduces effluent problems because of its solvent-free nature.
The recommended usage in different stages are:
- Soaking: 0.5 - 0.8 % (% on raw weight)
- Liming: 0.5 - 0.8 % (% on raw weight)
- Bating & Degreasing: 0.2 - 0.3 % (% on limed pelt weight)
- Degreasing: 0.6 - 1.5 % (% on pickle weight)
Safety
A non hazardous industrial chemical should be handled with normal care. Any contact with eyes and/or spillage on skin should be washed thoroughly with running water.
Storage
This product has 12 months shelf life when stored in original packing in sealed condition at ambient temperature. Protect from moisture & sunlight. Avoid freezing. Stir well before use. Close Container tightly after use.
